Dear Theatre Suburbia Supporters,

With great pride and joy, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce that we have a new home! It is located at 4106 Way Out West Drive, Houston, TX 77092. [see map below]
We are working diligently on a plan to vacate the 1410 West 43rd location and to setup our new location as soon as possible. To keep you informed and up-to-date-about our activities, we will post a calendar of events and work schedule on our website: http://www.theatresububia.com. Also, we will record the work schedule and calendar of events on the theatre’s phone system: 713-682-3525, line 5. If you are available, we welcome your help in expediting our move from the old location and our setup in the new location.

Thanks to all of you who volunteered and supported our garage sale recently. We were able to raise over $1,400 as well as clear out some unneeded items, the remaining items that were not sold are being donated to local charities.

Over the history of Theatre Suburbia, we have always worked hard to control cost and therefore keep our tickets some of the most affordable in town. We will continue to do this. The cost of our new location is significantly higher, and we will be looking at many new ways to sustain our cost. We know that our loyal supporters will continue to support their theatre through our future.

We are grateful for monetary donations to keep our non-profit organization in good financial standing. We are a 501(c)(3) organization, so all donations are tax deductible. Also, we need employers who match charitable donations! Theatre Suburbia is happy to provide the appropriate documentation of your contribution for income tax reporting.

If all goes well, we hope to open our first show of the 2008-2009 season on October 17. This season will consist of six shows. Season tickets are currently on sale for $55. We will announce our season of shows soon.

We have quite a bit to do and need all the help and donations we can get to support our transition – everyone’s help is appreciated. Be a part of Theatre Suburbia’s future in your community. We look forward to seeing you at the theatre.

Sincerely,

Elvin Moriarty

President, Theatre Suburbia
