Dear Members, Patrons and Season Ticket Holders,
As you know, Theatre Suburbia has successfully provided high-quality, affordable performances since 1961 and has endeavored to serve both the surrounding community and the community-at-large, artistically and through charitable works. We have been in our current location for 47 amazing and enjoyable years and we have seen many changes in the area over the decades. We too are changing! The Theatre Suburbia family is excited to inform you that we are actively searching for a new home so that we may continue with our own brand of theatre in Houston.
With the pending sale of our current home, we are looking for a new space in the surrounding area. If you have ideas or suggestions about an affordable and accessible location, please let us know as soon as possible. The best way to share the information is by sending us an email at theatresuburbia@juno.com.
In order to successfully accomplish our relocation, we will need your help. Specifically, we are looking for expertise in negotiating lease agreements; designing and building out the new space; help with electrical, plumbing and carpentry, packing and moving; organizing a garage sale and more. In addition to this, we could use moving and packing supplies. Some ideas are listed here:

We are also grateful for monetary donations to keep our non-profit organization in good financial standing. Since taxes are fresh on everyone’s mind, we are a 501©(3) organization, so all donations are tax deductible. Maximize your contribution, by checking if your employer has a matching program for which we might be eligible. Theatre Suburbia is happy to provide the appropriate documentation for 2008 taxes should you choose to make a contribution this year.
Watch our website, http://www.theatresuburbia.com, for a calendar posting of events and work schedules, so that you remain informed and up-to-date about our activities. Also, you may check the theatre’s phone, 713-682-3525, line 5 for information. Our current season will continue as planned, however, if our plans need to change, as our valued members, you will be the first to know.

quite a bit to do and need all the help we can get during our transition –
everyone’s help will be appreciated. If you ever wanted to be a
star, this is your time to shine brightly through your personal efforts in the
