About the playwright:  Gwen Flager was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana; attended college in Mobile, Alabama; and moved to Houston, Texas, where she has lived since 1973. Waiting To Be Mended is her first full-length fictional play. Although not formally trained in the theater arts, living in the South exposed Ms. Flager to flavorful drama and festive characters. Ms. Flager is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc.
