STORY: Henry
sells his lucrative brokerage firm to become a detective. On his first case, his
living room
begins to fill up with dead bodies. Although he keeps showing up home each day
more disheveled
and beaten up, Henry couldn’t
be happier.
CHARACTERS: HENRY FLEMMING: Our hero. An unassuming man in his Mid-forties.
KAREN FLEMMING: His wife. In her Late-thirties.
STAN SPENCER: The Flemming’s pain-in-the-neck neighbor. Mid-forties.
SUZY SPENCER: Stan’s long suffering wife. Mid-thirties
WALTER LARSEN: Karen’s father. In his Mid-sixties.
LIEUTENANT DAVIS: A plainclothes cop. In his Late-thirties
MISS HAVENHURST: A sweet young thing who’s had a tough life. Late-twenties.
VITO MARDIGIAN: A tough, threatening hoodlum. In his Late-thirties.

REHEARSALS: March 3rd through April 15th, 2010
PERFORMANCES: April 16th thru May 15th, 2010
Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30 PM, including Sundays at 3:00 PM (May 2nd and 9th).
Also, a benefit performance may be held on Thursday, April 22nd.
INFORMATION: No monologue required. Auditions will be readings from the script. Bring your resume and headshot
if you have them. If not, we have forms and a camera. For further information, call the theatre at

After the auditions on Sunday, February 28th, Theatre Suburbia Directors will conduct a short
workshop on improving your audition techniques. Auditioners are welcome to attend free of
charge.
